IMAGINE, you are on the phone with your friend. He confides that a “creepy” guy is following him.

IMAGINE, you instruct your friend to RUN if he is scared.

IMAGINE, you are on the telephone as your friend  is approached and then executed while you sat helplessly listening.

IMAGINE, you are a teenager and that friend was your boyfriend.

IMAGINE, the world critiquing your every move, how you look, how you speak, and your demeanor.

Meet Rachel Jeantel, the friend of late Trayvon Martin. Yesterday, we watched this young woman try to compose herself and answer a series of questions.

Social Media had a lot to say about this young woman and her lack of poise and poor articulation. Rachel at times seemed almost hostile and unapologetic as she told her story in court.

Rachel is the prosecution’s key witness, she holds information that will help solve this case and put Trayvon Martin’s murderer behind bars Let’s keep this in mind as we critique this young woman who have suffered trauma of the greatest kind. Let’s be kind as we listen to her articulate what happened to her friend. Let’s realize this young woman is as much of a victim as Trayvon Martin.

What are your thoughts on Rachel Jeantel?
